The Auciera Founders Session for CPAs

The Opportunity
A New Operating Standard
Is Emerging
For decades, financial systems have asked owners to wait for reconciliations, for reporting, for clarity. While businesses have accelerated, the systems supporting them have often struggled to keep pace.
AI is changing what leaders should reasonably expect from their financial infrastructure, enabling stronger awareness of risk, faster access to dependable answers, and greater confidence in decision-making.
Moments like this tend to separate companies that adapt from those that lead. This session brings experienced operators together for a forward-looking dialogue about how modern businesses should run when financial insight keeps pace with leadership.
The Problem Your Clients Face
AI Is Resetting the Playing Field.
Your Clients Can't Afford to Wait.
Most small business owners are overwhelmed. They're busy running their business, uncomfortable with new technology, and uncertain how to turn "AI time savings" into real profitability.
They have three core concerns holding them back:
▸Overwhelmed by AI tools — too many options, too little time to evaluate what's right for their business
▸Security & privacy anxiety — uncomfortable putting sensitive business data into systems they don't fully understand
▸No clear ROI path — unsure how to translate "AI efficiency" into measurable, bottom-line profitability
That's where you come in. As a CPA, you've spent your career managing risk and providing financial guidance. Now you can step into the next chapter of your advisory services—helping clients navigate AI with confidence, governance, and a clear plan.
You may not be the leading AI expert in the room, but as a CPA, you've spent your career managing risk. That's exactly the expertise your clients need to build an AI-supported organization safely, repeatedly, and profitably. |
Designed For
Those Who Intend to Operate Ahead of the Curve
This discussion is intended for CPA Practitioners and CPA Firm Leaders who are serious about building an AI-supported operating model deliberately.
- Looking to provide clients and business owners financial visibility that keeps pace with decisions—not month-end lag.
- Feel friction in the close, cash flow, and reporting cycles and want to remove bottlenecks that slow execution.
- Are adopting (or feeling pressure to adopt) AI and want a practical game plan rather than scattered experimentation.
- Care about governance, controls, and privacy, so AI increases trust instead of creating new risk.
- Want to build an AI-supported operating model deliberately—starting where learning is fastest and risk is lowest.

WHO YOU'LL HEAR FROM
Meet the People Behind This Conversation
This session is led by the founders and operators building Auciera.
PRESENTER:
Andrew Ross, CPA, CMA
Founding Partner & CEO, Auciera
Andrew brings more than three decades of experience at the intersection of accounting, technology, and financial operations. His career has been shaped by a single conviction: that accountants are most powerful when technology removes the friction standing between them and meaningful advisory work.
Before founding Auciera, Andrew held senior roles at EY and PwC, where he specialized in finance transformation, tax performance advisory, and performance management. He built a reputation for bringing operational clarity to complex financial environments, designing systems that deliver accuracy, transparency, and measurable results for the businesses relying on them.
At Auciera, Andrew is channeling that experience into a platform that redefines how financial information flows through a growing business, built on the belief that every business deserves the clarity and operational efficiency once reserved for large enterprises.
He also serves as a Professor of Accounting and Tax at Humber College, where he has helped shape the next generation of accounting professionals since 2018.
HOST:
Patrick Parato
Head of Growth, Auciera
Patrick leads Growth at Auciera, where his focus is on helping CPA practitioners and business leaders understand not just what AI can do, but how to apply it with confidence, governance, and a clear path to value.
His background spans leadership roles at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group, VitalHub, Navantis, and New Signature, where he helped organizations design scalable go-to-market strategies, adopt cloud-first solutions, and win complex enterprise deals in regulated industries.
Patrick's edge is in translation, turning complex financial and technology problems into solutions that make it easy for the right people to say yes. He brings that same clarity to this session: no hype, no ambiguity, just a practical conversation about what modern financial operations look like when they're built to scale.
